Deep Within Yourself

Do what is difficult, that is where growth is.

Taking a break from the usual posts of the luxury sphere, I've gathered up a few words of inspiration from my own journals, Marcus Aurelius and Rainer Rilke's. For when you're low or for when you're in the clouds, whatever it may be, their words truly can provide a power that is transcending. You, alone, have this power already within you. It's up to you to lift the veil that may shield this power which already exists.

"Don't get distracted, everything seems to be a distraction these days. The emptiness of it, the meaningless of it, the noisiness of it - stick to the moment, the truth, where meaning lies, the slow pace, nature's pace. It will make time for doing things that feel more like you. Figure out what this is for you - in this one and only existence, it's time to start making the best of this gift that's been given. Cherish it."

In your journey, whether it's career oriented, spiritual or romantic, you will come across all sorts of obstacles and perhaps, repetitive obstacles implying you have not learned the appropriate lesson that was meant for you. When this happens, keep going. In the midst of difficulty, is where the most growth lies. Is that not what you want? To grow in this lifetime, as a human being - to grow to your highest potential with this existence that seems to last a fraction of a second when compared to everything else in the cosmos?

Live this gift that has been so beautifully given to you. Forget what anyone else may think or believe - stay true to yourself by listening to that inner guide, that guide that is always there. Be authentic in your words and actions. Most importantly, choose love, choose gratitude, choose hard work, choose patience but most importantly, choose yourself. 

Wake up and meet yourself. You only get to be you once.
